North Shore Design is about realistic design for everyday living. It is about class and comfort. It is about restoring what you have, repurposing items to fit your life, and restyling your home to make it a perfect space for you - without the high price tag.
Virginia Greuloch, a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, IL, has a knack for seeing design potential in unlikely places. She can usually be found scouring Cleveland-area thrift stores, doing U-turns to grab a unique piece left on the curb, or repurposing a piece of hand-me-down furniture to meet a client's needs. Extensively skilled in the latest painting and staining techniques, Virginia is able to assist clients in using what they already own, along with a few "new" pieces, to create a beautiful, unique space. Whatever the budget, Virginia is confident that she can help you create a space that you will love.
Before starting North Shore Design Co., Virginia worked with over 400 clients in the Cleveland area while working as an interior decorator for a larger Northeast Ohio-based company. After the birth of her daughter, Virginia started North Shore Design Co. as a way to not only spend more time with her family, but to put her talent for "restyling" to good use. Virginia's favorite paint colors are Sherwin-Williams' SW6204 Sea Salt for walls, Sherwin-Williams' SW7008 Alabaster for trim and cabinetry, and Minwax Dark Walnut for staining. Her favorite faux finish techniques are textured fresco and striae. Her favorite accent colors are yellow and red. She also makes the best mashed potatoes. Ever.
